Payment Policy.
DEPOSIT AMOUNTS:
A per-person deposit is required to confirm a reservation. For reservations made within the timeframe between the Final Payment Date (as defined below) and departure, you must pay an amount equal to 100% of the Trip price.
“Land Journeys” include Land Tours and are not those associated with a Cruise booking.
Unless otherwise noted in the Travel Agreement, the following deposit terms apply:
Land Journeys
10% of Trip price,
not including any optional add-ins or airfare
River Cruises
20% of Trip price,
not including any optional add-ins or airfare
Ocean Cruises
20% of the Trip price,
not including any optional add-ins or airfare
In the event that a retainer or planning fee is quoted, the fee is payable immediately upon invoicing. Both retainer and planning fees are non-refundable. Retainer fees may be applied to non-refundable travel payments.
FINAL PAYMENT DATES:
Unless otherwise noted in your Travel Agreement, the following are the final payment dates (“Final Payment Date”) by Trip type that apply, unless the reservation is made on or after the Final Payment Date, in which case 100% of the Trip price is required to be paid at the time of reservation:
Land Journeys
120 days prior to departure
River Cruises
180 days prior to departure
Ocean Cruises
50% payment due 360 days prior to departure
30% payment due 180 days prior to departure
Payment(s) must be made in U.S. dollars and all U.S. major credit cards or ACH bank transfer (certain countries only). Do not send cash. A Guest’s reservation may be cancelled if full payment has not been received by the final payment date.
