I had a great experience working with Ruth and she made our trip a success. Despite being seasoned travelers, planning a trip to Japan became rather challenging and time-consuming prior to finding Ruth. Ruth met with me and based on our conversation and emails came up with a customized itinerary that tailored to our interests as well as included things that we did not even know/consider. She made all arrangements including buying tickets and making dinner reservations. It made my job of a mom wrangling two teens in a foreign country much easier and less stressful. Moreover, Ruth was available to us during our trip to smooth a few wrinkles as well as make changes based on our wants. As a result we had a structured, well planned trip while retaining the ability to be flexible and adjust to circumstances.

Ruth was incredibly helpful with the hotel planning and booking for our trip to Japan. When I began researching hotels I was quickly overwhelmed with how many options there are for not only hotels, but cities within Tokyo to stay at. I was grateful to have found Ruth and to have had her help me narrow down the choices for our trip. Her detailed itinerary for our stays was so helpful as well when checking in to the hotels. Ruth also helped us pre-book some of our transportation in Japan which again was much appreciated when I was overwhelmed with routes, times, etc. Especially since we traveled over the New Years holiday, Ruth was able to suggest what areas to stay in and when to travel via train to get to our locations. Ruth Walker was exceptional! She single-handedly took care of 21 moms to give us an incredible, memorable and fun-filled first-time experience on Virgin Voyages. Our dinners were pre-booked, outfits color-coordinated and we became famous on and off the ship as “The Mom group”. Ruth even arranged a special behind-the-scene private viewing with the enchanted magician. We have experienced a voyage never to be forgotten and look forward to the next adventure Ruth will plan for us.

Ruth is a fantastic travel agent! She really took the time to tailor the trip to our needs. We told her we wanted to get from Vancouver to Banff and provided our parameters of travel budget and she gave us the perfect set of options to choose from. She is thoughtful and detail oriented. She followed up with a very professional itinerary with dates, pricing and locations - making it super easy for us to reference as we transitioned from one place to the next on our fabulous roadtrip checking out wineries, waterfalls, lakes, and spectacular hikes. She made recommendations for tours that we would not have known about and helped us secure tickets for hard to get Lake Louise reservations. It was sooooo easy planning and modifying this trip with Ruth. Ruth was able to get me the best pricing too for all the places and there is no additional cost to using her services!
